We the baby boomers, that is those aged about 40 and above make up about one quarter of the world’s population and are growing older rapidly. Considering that most of these baby boomers have already established their careers, have accumulated savings with disposable income, having grown up or fast growing up children and would probably owned their own homes, what do they want next? A secret antidote to stop the aging process would be nice isn’t it?

Business owners are quick to capitalize on this rich and growing market dreaming up multitudes of anti aging products and services to cater to the baby boomers. The fear of growing old and the loss of youth and vitality are so real that these industries are doing businesses in the tune of billions of dollars every year. Products like slimming pills, health care, skincare and look good products are so highly in demand that you see these companies pitching their products in multi million advertising campaigns. Some of these products do work very well but most don’t.

Of all the products and services catering to the baby boomers, skin care anti aging products seems to be spearheading the charge and raking in immense profit. Consumers persuaded by advertisements of skin care companies promising face lift without surgery, wrinkles vanishing creams and a host of other variations are snapping up these products real quick. Men are also not spared from the marketing onslaught and lines of men’s skincare products are now plentiful too.

Do you know what can be the best anti aging weapon against the effects of aging? Nope, it is not the skincare products that you can buy off the shelves. It is looking after your own health and fitness.

Do you remember the good old days when you are able to play robust games, climb trees, cycle long distances and enjoying them? Are you able to do these things with gusto these days? If not, why not? That is because your health and fitness is slowly and surely deteriorating as you age. We are putting on body fat faster because our metabolism is slowing down. We will regain some the energy and vitality of our youthful days making daily chores so much easier to handle. Best of all, exercises reduces stress, improve your posture and adds a healthy glow to your skin. And you know what? It is free.

So isn’t improving your health and fitness is the best antidote to the aging process? I know because I refuse to let age defy me. So with good healthy eating habits a regular dose of exercise, I am able to play competitive soccer with people half my age, enjoy mountain tracking and scuba diving now and then. That to me is a much more fulfilling and enjoyable life than having jars of anti aging pills and skincare creams sitting on my shelf and burning a gaping hole in my pocket. Having good health and an excellent fitness level is your best weapon to defy age and keep the aging process at bay.

Anti aging health is a big question these days, not only do people want to look good, but they do not want the side-effects that come with traditional anti aging health practices like cosmetic surgery, and botox injections.

I completely agree with this myself, I almost tried a medical anti aging method years ago, but I changed my mind at the last minute, and decided to go a natural route instead.

Using only the best natural skincare products is one of the wisest choices you can make, because they have no side-effects, and they really nurture your skin.

The only downside is that they can sometimes take a bit longer to show results, so you will have to keep applying them a few weeks or even a few months to start seeing results, but once the results start, you will be happy that you did, this happened to me.

The thing that you really have to be on the lookout for are harmful ingredients, and these are present in almost all skincare products out there today, things like fragrances, dioxanes, and parabens can cause big problems down the road.

Collagen and elastin are two important skin proteins that are really crucial to get more of. You see, when we're younger, we have an abundance of collagen and elastin, but when we age we start getting less and less of them.

You cannot apply collagen and elastin topically, because your skin cannot absorb it, the protein molecules are too big. You also cannot take it as a supplement, because it has not been proven to be effective, so that would be a waste of money.

1. Diet - Yup, I said it, food. This is one of the biggest anti aging help tips that I can share with you. When you really understand this one, your health, and skin will become better and better. In simple terms I can say; eat as much fruits and vegetables as you can, with a handful of nuts, and seeds daily. Throw all the processed junk foods out the door, they are killing your skin, AND health!

2. Sleep - We need sleep, but sleep is so easy to sacrifice when you're short on time. Most people say that they need more time, they don't have enough time to do things. Whatever you do, do not sacrifice sleep, we all need 6-8 hours per night depending on your uniqueness.

3. Exercise - Those who live long, and healthy lives move their bodies, and they move them a lot. If you think about exercise as something that is boring, you've just not found the right form of exercise yet. Try different things, who knows what you'll like!

4. Natural Skin Care - This is one of the most important anti aging health tips, and one that made a huge difference in my skin. Natural skin care means that you do not put harmful ingredients on your skin, and only by the purest, highest quality skin care products available. These kind of products are often less expensive than the ones that you're currently buying.

These anti aging health tips are so simple that you're going to laugh, but bear with me. If you apply these simple anti aging health tips, I promise you that you will look a lot younger.

I can say this confidently because I use these anti aging health tips and they've worked wonders for me. They are very simple, but they are a bit harder to apply.

You see, most people that ask me what I do to have good looking skin don't want to hear that I eat well, I exercise, and I only use natural products on my skin.

They want to hear that I take this magic pill which magically makes my skin look great. No one wants to put in the effort anymore to be healthy, and look good.

That is why so few truly look good, but it isn't as hard as they think. Getting started is the hard part, from there on it is a downhill ride. It's almost like pushing something over a hump, and once you're over that hump, you're in for one heck of a ride, and you'll have beautiful skin to boot!

Here are my 3 anti aging health tips that are proven effective:

1. Exercise - Get your body movin'! When you exercise, your blood gets pumped through your body, and skin. This will make your skin glow, and you will start looking several years younger. Find an exercise that you like, who knows what it can be, martial arts, hiking, dancing, whatever!

2. Sleep - Get at least 8 hours of sleep every night. Shut out all distractions so you can sleep soundly, buy earplugs if you have to! Many are sleep deprived in our society, because we are worked to death. We have to find time to relax, and enjoy life!

3. Natural Products - This is probably the most important of my anti aging health tips. Finding a good natural skin care product line is very important, because if you're using skin care products on your skin, there's a big chance that you're using ingredients that are harming your skin. Some of these can even cause cancer in the long run, not good!

With all that said, now it is up to you to start implementing these anti aging health tips. As I said, they are very simple, but once applied, you will start seeing gradual results, and they sure as heck beat going for a botox injection, or a chemical peel.
